Subtracting Fractions Unlike Denominators
Lesson 1: Discover Subtracting Fractions Unlike Denominators.
1. Comparing two fractions whether having same denominators.
2. Ensuring two fractions have same number of denominators by multiplying the number taken from denominator from other fractions.
3. Multiplying the numerator with same numbers as below.
4. After having same denominators, only we can comparing both fractions to find out the value of these two fractions.
5. Do the direct subtraction only if first fraction has bigger value than second value by comparing the numerators of two fractions.
6. Direct subtract the numerators of two fractions.
7. Simplifying the fractions by dividing both numerator and denominator with common factor.
