Round off Numbers – Part I

There are few steps kids need to know in rounding off numbers  of math.

(1) Look at the digit of the place value

(2) Look at the digit to the right of that place value.

(3) If the digit value is 5 or more than 5, add 1 to the digit in the place value that is to be round off. After that, change all the digits to its right to zeros.

(4) If the digit value is less than 5, maintain the digit of the place value that is to be rounded off, and change all the digits to its right to zeros.
