Multiply Fractions of Whole Numbers With Proper Fractions
In a proper fraction, the denominator represents the number of parts which an object is divided into.
For example,
1/3 means 1 part of an object that is divided into 3 parts.
2/5 means 2 parts of an object that is divided into 5 parts.
This also represents the parts of a group of objects which are divided equally.
Then add up all the parts, we will get one whole object.
The multiplication of a fraction by a whole number gives the value of a part of that number.
