Another Way When Calculating Division Without Remainder?

Do remember that remainder in division occur when we divide or share things we find out that we have extras leftover or we are not able to share them equally.

Example 2:

84 ÷ 4 = ?

 Learning Division

Divide the tens

8 ÷ 4 = 2

2 x 4 = 8

Bring down the 4, which will make up the ones column of the new number.

 Basic Division

Divide the ones

4 ÷ 4 = 1

1 x 4 = 4

Write the 1 above the ones column & subtract the product.

4 – 4 = 0.

This means there is no remainder as it equals.
