If you wish that your kids could get monitor division fast, or in fact He or She Can!!, the your must read and understand the message below.

For example, the simple addition is asking how many groups of 3 are there in 9. The answer is 3.
From this we know that division is repeated subtraction.
We can take 3 “Sun” away from 9 a total of 3 times.
Just like what did the diagram shown below.

Learning Basic Division Without Remainders Lesson
You will need:
-
Basic Multiplication Facts Table
-
Basic Division Facts Table
Learning Steps
1. Have kids solve division of two digit numbers by one digit numbers (without remainder) using the Basic Multiplication Facts Table.
|
8 ÷ 2 =
14 ÷ 8 =
24 ÷ 6 =
27 ÷ 3 =
30 ÷ 5 =
|
28 ÷ 4 =
42 ÷ 6 =
63 ÷ 9 =
64 ÷ 8 =
56 ÷ 7 = |
2. Instructor shows division of 2 digit numbers by 1 digit number without remainder by subtracting successively,.
For example: 27 ÷ 9 = ?

3. Complete the number sentence:
27 ÷ 9 = 3
4. Have kids solve the questions in step 1 by subtracting successively.
5. Instructor shows another way to divide a two digit number by a one digit number without remainder, e.g.
21 ÷ 7 = ?

6. Complete the number sentence:
27 ÷ 9 = 3
7. Have kids use the method in step 4 to solve the questions in step 1.
Another Way When Calculating Division Without Remainder?
Do remember that remainder in division occur when we divide or share things we find out that we have extras leftover or we are not able to share them equally.
Example 2:
84 ÷ 4 = ?

Divide the tens
8 ÷ 4 = 2
2 x 4 = 8
Bring down the 4, which will make up the ones column of the new number.

Divide the ones
4 ÷ 4 = 1
1 x 4 = 4
Write the 1 above the ones column & subtract the product.
4 – 4 = 0.
This means there is no remainder as it equals.
